Kayflow Underground Drainage - Rodding Eye - Brown

Connect the rodding eye to a 110mm pipe using the spigot. Secure connections and ensure a watertight seal before backfilling.

It is made from durable, impact-resistant polypropylene.

It is compatible with systems manufactured to BS EN 1401 or BS EN 13476-2.

Regularly inspect and remove any debris. Clean around the lid and the surrounding area to ensure proper function.

Replace the lid to prevent debris from entering and to maintain the integrity of the drainage system.

The hinged lid provides access for maintenance and inspection while protecting the drainage system from debris.

Inspect the rodding eye at least twice a year, or more frequently if you suspect any blockages.

Use the rodding eye to access the drain and insert a drain rod to clear the blockage. Remove any debris obstructing the flow.

Check the seal between the rodding eye and the pipe. Ensure the push-fit ring is properly seated. Tighten or replace the seal if necessary.

Check for debris obstructing the hinge or securing screws. Clean the hinge and ensure the screws are properly aligned.

Inspect the rodding eye for cracks or breaks. If damaged, replace the rodding eye to maintain the integrity of the drainage system.
