Eukanuba Veterinary Diet Restricted Calorie is a specialized nutritional solution designed for adult dogs, including giant breeds, that require effective weight management support. By combining a low energy density with high-quality protein and L-carnitine, this formula assists in reducing excess body weight while preserving lean muscle mass; however, it must be used under strict veterinary supervision to ensure the diet aligns with your pet's specific medical history and ongoing weight loss requirements.

Yes, dry and canned formulas can be mixed to help maximize weight loss success, provided you adjust the total daily calories accordingly.
Always inform your veterinarian about any pre-existing health conditions, as they must evaluate if this diet is appropriate for your dog's overall health profile.
Ensure a gradual transition period and try warming the food slightly or adding a small amount of warm water to enhance the aroma.
Consult your veterinarian to verify the portion sizes and ensure no additional treats or table scraps are being provided outside the diet.
Slow down the transition process by adding a smaller percentage of the new food until the digestive system adjusts.
Before starting your dog on this diet, schedule a consultation with your veterinarian to determine the target weight and appropriate daily portion sizes. Store the 12kg bag in a cool, dry place and ensure the bag is sealed tightly after each use to maintain the integrity of the vitamins and the freshness of the ingredients. When transitioning to this diet, gradually introduce it over a period of 5-7 days, mixing it with the previous food to avoid digestive upset. Always provide your dog with access to clean, fresh water at all times.
