FAQs

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a screwdriver to install the clips.

How do I determine the correct size?

Choose the size that best fits your shoe size. The clip should provide a secure fit without being too tight.

How often should I inspect the toe clips?

Inspect the toe clips before each ride and regularly for wear and tear.

Can these toe clips be used with any type of shoe?

No. These clips work best with shoes designed for cycling or with a relatively stiff sole that can fit into the clip comfortably.

What should I do if the screws strip?

If the screws strip, you may need to replace them with a slightly larger size or consider using a thread repair kit.

Troubleshooting

Toe clips are difficult to engage or disengage.

Adjust the position of the clips or the tension of the straps (if applicable) to allow for easier entry and exit.

Screws become loose.

Tighten the screws regularly. Consider using thread locker for a more secure fit.

Rust or corrosion appears.

Clean the clips and apply a protective coating or lubricant.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Compatibility: These toe clips are designed to be compatible with pedals that accept toe clips. Ensure your pedals have the necessary mounting holes.
Installation: Align the toe clip with the pedal and secure it using the provided screws. Make sure the screws are tightened firmly but do not overtighten, which could strip the threads.
Adjustment: Adjust the position of the toe clip to accommodate your shoe size. The clip should be positioned to provide a snug fit without being overly tight.
Care: Regularly inspect the toe clips for wear and tear. Clean the clips with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Apply a light lubricant to the pivot points to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation. Store in a dry place when not in use.
