Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, smooth, and dry. Remove any old wallpaper, dust, or grease.
- Cut the wallpaper to the required size, allowing for a slight overlap if necessary.
- Immerse one length of the wallpaper into a water bath or spray generously with clean water on the back. Let it sit for the time recommended on the packaging (typically a few minutes) to allow the paste to activate.
- Carefully unfold the wet paper and apply it to the wall, smoothing out any air bubbles from the center outwards with a soft brush or smoothing tool.
- Trim any excess paper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for application on most smooth, prepared interior wall surfaces, including plaster, drywall, and previously painted surfaces (ensure paint is well-adhered).
Care:
- The wallpaper is scrubbable. Use a damp cloth or sponge to gently wipe away light marks or dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive scrubbing.
- While generally durable, avoid exposing the wallpaper to prolonged direct water spray or excessive humidity, especially in areas like shower enclosures or behind sinks without adequate ventilation or sealing.
