The Knipex ErgoStrip® Universal Stripping Tool is designed for the fast and precise dismantling and stripping of all common round and damp-proof installation cables, data cable (e.g. Twisted pair) and coax cable. Its innovative ergonomic pistol grip facilitates easy cutting, stripping, and longitudinal cutting of the sheath. The tool features conical, slimmed-down ends for improved access in confined spaces and a stripping device for cross-sections 0.2, 0.3, 0.8, 1.5, 2.5, and 4mm². It simplifies the insertion of single wires for stripping using location ridges and offers easy insertion of coax and data cable thanks to a spring opening aid. The multi-component design with a soft plastic zone ensures comfortable use and a secure grip, while the housing is constructed from stable glass fibre-reinforced plastic. The tool has a wire stripping capacity for round cables from 8-13mm, conductors and strands from 0.2-4.0mm, data cables like CAT 5-7 and Twisted Pair (UTP/STP), and coax cables from 4.8-7.5mm. It has an overall length of 135mm and weighs 95g.
