Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before the first use, wash the tin in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. When baking, ensure your oven temperature is calibrated correctly, as high-quality carbon steel responds quickly to heat. To maintain the non-stick integrity, avoid using metal knives or sharp spatulas directly on the surface; instead, opt for silicone, nylon, or wooden tools. For cleaning, hand washing is highly recommended to protect the coating; avoid harsh scouring pads or abrasive detergents, as these can strip the non-stick layer over time. If food residue becomes stuck, soak the tin in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes before gently wiping it clean.
