Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Inspect the transom eyes on your boat to ensure they are free of debris.
- Hook the strap onto the trailer anchor point first, then secure the top hook to the boat's transom eye.
- Pull the loose end of the webbing through the buckle mechanism until firm tension is achieved.
- Secure the excess webbing using the integrated Velcro fastener.
Compatibility:
These straps are universally compatible with most standard transom eyes and trailer eyelets. They are rated for standard recreational watercraft; ensure your boat’s total weight does not exceed the load capacity of the straps.
Care:
After use in saltwater, rinse the straps and hardware thoroughly with fresh water to prevent salt crystallization. Allow the straps to air dry completely in a shaded area before storing them with the Velcro closure to prevent mildew or webbing degradation.
