The jacket has a water-repellent front zip and fabric, making it suitable for wet conditions. However, for prolonged exposure to heavy rain, a fully waterproof garment might be more appropriate.
Gently pull the zipper while ensuring the fabric is not caught. If needed, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth.
Ensure the jacket is clean. Washing with a mild detergent and air drying can help restore some water repellency. For significant reduction, consider a re-waterproofing treatment suitable for synthetic fabrics.
Check the zipper or snap mechanism connecting the hood to the jacket for any damage or debris. Ensure it is properly secured according to the design.
Setup: This jacket requires no setup. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
