The FloPlast 45° Terracotta Long Radius Rest Bend is designed to provide a sweeping curve when changing direction in a drainage system. This design simplifies inspection and cleaning, reducing the likelihood of blockages compared to short radius bends. The 45° version is ideal for horizontal changes in direction. These large fittings offer a longer, more sweeping curve for drainage systems, making maintenance easier and preventing blockages. The 45-degree bend is commonly used for horizontal changes, while 87.5-degree bends are often found at the base of soil stacks, especially in multi-storey buildings. Each end of this fitting is chamfered to accommodate a 110mm ring seal socket.
