The Sonnet DuoModo Echo III Module connects up to three PCIe cards to computers without card slots. This module supports three full-height, full-length Thunderbolt-compatible non-GPU PCIe cards and provides 400W of power for demanding PCIe cards, including qualification from Avid for Pro Tools | HDX PCIe cards. It features quiet, dual temperature-controlled Noctua fans rated at 17 dbA and connects through a super-fast 40Gbps Thunderbolt interface. This expansion system is ideal for graphics workstations, boosting performance by connecting high-performance desktop or workstation GPU cards to your computer via a single cable. It offers three versatile PCIe slots (one x16 and two x8 PCIe 3.0 slots) and supports every Thunderbolt-compatible non-GPU card. The built-in 400W power supply includes a 75W auxiliary power connector, making it suitable for power-hungry non-GPU cards like Avid HDX. The module powers on and off automatically with the connected computer and operates with ultra-quiet performance thanks to its dual Noctua fans, which are temperature-controlled and rated at 17 dbA. It features a Thunderbolt 3 interface with two ports offering 40Gbps bandwidth and is compatible with Apple M1 and Thunderbolt 4 computers. A Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) cable and ThunderLok 3 Thunderbolt Connector Retainer clip are included.
