The board is made of masonite, a dense fiberboard.

It is best suited for single-tier cakes or as a base for smaller decorative cakes. For very large or heavy tiered cakes, consider a thicker, professional-grade cake drum.

With proper care and cleaning, the board can be reused multiple times. Its durability and wipeable surface are designed for repeat use.

The board is intended as a presentation base and is not meant to be eaten. The color is on the exterior surface. Always ensure a barrier, like parchment paper or a cake board liner, is used between the cake and the masonite if direct contact is a concern.

The board is approximately 5mm thick.

Store the clean, dry board flat in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. Ensure it is not stacked with heavy items on top.

Ensure the board is not damp and has fully dried after cleaning. Check that it is placed on a level surface before placing the cake on it.

Use a slightly damp cloth with a mild dish soap. Wipe gently and dry immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing.

Allow the board to air out in a well-ventilated area for a few hours before use. The odor should dissipate.
