Setup, Compatibility & Care
When planting, choose a location that receives full sun for the majority of the day. Dig a hole slightly larger than the 3L root ball, and ensure the soil is amended with grit or perlite if your native soil is heavy or prone to waterlogging. Water the plant thoroughly after planting and keep it consistently moist during its first growing season. Once established, reduce watering to moderate levels. During late autumn, remove dead foliage to keep the plant tidy, and in areas with harsh winters, consider a light layer of mulch around the base to protect the crown from freezing temperatures.
