Installation

1. Compatibility: Ensure your motherboard has an M.2 slot and supports PCIe Gen4 NVMe. Check your motherboard documentation.
2. Power Down: Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cable.
3. Open the Case: Open your computer case.
4. Locate M.2 Slot: Find the M.2 slot on your motherboard. It's usually near the CPU or the graphics card slot.
5. Insert the SSD: Align the notch on the SSD with the notch in the M.2 slot and insert the SSD at an angle. Push it down and secure it with a screw.
6. Close the Case: Close your computer case and reconnect the power cable.

Compatibility

The Crucial P3 Plus is compatible with:

• Desktops and laptops with M.2 slots.
• Motherboards that support PCIe Gen4 NVMe for full speed. It is also backward compatible with PCIe Gen3.
• Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux.
