The Palissade lounge chair is part of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec''s contemporary Palissade outdoor collection for HAY. Centring on symmetrical geometry, visual simplicity and core strength, the range has been designed to seamlessly integrate into both natural and urban settings and become more beautiful with time and use. Featuring a slender, curving frame and streamlined, slatted seat and back, this modern lounge chair is crafted from durable steel. Adding a contemporary touch to traditional French garden furniture style, the versatile Palissade lounge chair is ideal for relaxing in your garden, terrace or balcony. Available in two heights, five calming powder-coated steel colours or a galvanised steel finish, with additional seat cushions. With its clean, graphic design and incredible visual lightness, the Palissade collection bears the unmistakable style of the Bouroullec brothers. Very complete, it consists of thirteen elements: chairs with or without armrests, armchairs with different sizes and levels of comfort, benches, stools, tables.Together, they create a dining or relaxation area in our gardens and on our terraces, as well as in public places. The Palissade is aesthetically very homogeneous and uses round tubes for the structures and legs, coupled with long rectangular strips that make up the seats. Very ergonomically successful, this collection offers excellent sitting comfort, even without a cushion. For optimum comfort, you can complement this armchair with a footrest from the same range (sold separately).
