Initial Setup

Your Real Techniques Au Naturel brushes come ready to use right out of the package. No assembly is required. It is recommended to gently wash new brushes before their first use to remove any manufacturing residue and soften the bristles further. Use a mild brush cleanser or baby shampoo and warm water.

These brushes are designed to be highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of makeup formulations, including:

Care & Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and performance of your brushes:

1. Regular Cleaning: Clean your brushes weekly, or more frequently if used daily or with different product types. This prevents product buildup and bacterial growth.

• Wet the bristles with lukewarm water.
• Apply a small amount of brush cleanser or mild soap (like baby shampoo) to the bristles.
• Gently swirl the brush on a cleaning mat or in the palm of your hand until clean.
• Rinse thoroughly under lukewarm running water until the water runs clear.

1. Reshaping: Gently squeeze out excess water and reshape the brush head to its original form.
2. Drying: Lay brushes flat on a clean towel or hang them upside down (if you have a brush drying rack) to air dry completely. Avoid drying them upright, as water can seep into the ferrule and loosen the glue over time.
3. Storage: Store brushes in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight or excessive humidity. Consider a brush holder or roll to protect the bristles from damage and dust. (Note: Kit does not include storage.)
