Setup (Replacement):
- Safety First: Ensure the power tool is unplugged from its power source.
- Access Brushes: Locate the brush holders on your tool. These are typically small caps on the side or rear of the motor housing.
- Remove Old Brushes: Use a screwdriver or appropriate tool to carefully remove the brush caps and extract the old carbon brushes. Note their orientation.
- Install New Brushes: Insert the new OKODOKO carbon brushes, ensuring they are seated correctly and oriented as the old ones were.
- Reassemble: Replace the brush caps securely.
- Test: Plug in the tool and test its operation.
Care: Carbon brushes are a consumable part. Inspect them periodically for wear. Clean any dust accumulation around the brush holders with a dry cloth or brush. Avoid exposing the brushes or tool motor to excessive moisture or dirt, which can accelerate wear and reduce performance.
