Design Engineering Heat Sheath is constructed from a high temperature fiberglass fabric bonded, to an aluminium material and sewn to form a tube. Designed to slide over wires and hoses to protect against heat sources, this product can be easily shaped to fit the tightest bends. --Ideal for protecting wiring and hoses against heat damage --Reflects 90% of radiant heat --Length can easily be trimmed to suit different applications --Capable of withstanding up to 2000°F (1093°C) radiant heat The Heat Sheath will reflect up to 90 percent of the radiant heat and can insulate against up to 260° C direct continuous heat, and radiant heat over 1000° C. It also provides additional abrasion resistance for extra protection to hoses and wiring. Easily.
