Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (e.g., router, switch, computer, server). Ensure a secure click to confirm the connection.
Compatibility: This cable is backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 standards, meaning it will function in networks using older cable categories. However, to achieve 10 Gbps speeds, both the connected devices and any intermediate network hardware (switches, patch panels) must also support Cat6A standards.
Care:
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable, as this can damage the internal conductors and shielding.
- Keep connectors clean. If dust accumulates, gently wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- The LSZH jacket is designed for safety; do not expose to open flames.
