Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, smooth, and level before installation. This vinyl flooring is typically installed using adhesive, though specific methods may vary based on manufacturer recommendations. Cut the flooring to size using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. For best results, allow the flooring to acclimatize to room temperature for at least 24 hours before installation.
Compatibility: Compatible with most standard subfloors, including concrete, plywood, and existing hard surface flooring (provided they are smooth and level). It is also compatible with underfloor heating systems up to a specified maximum temperature (check manufacturer's guidelines).
Care: Clean regularly with a vacuum cleaner or a soft broom. For tougher stains or dirt, use a damp cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining. Use furniture pads on the legs of heavy furniture to prevent scratches.
