Product Information
Full details
The Shayla Matte Black Wall Mirror is designed for homeowners and interior design enthusiasts looking to add architectural interest to their living space. Its primary benefit is the combination of a timeless arched window design with a contemporary matte black finish that elevates entryways, living rooms, or bedrooms. A notable caveat is its significant size of 87cm in height, which requires sufficient wall space and robust mounting hardware to ensure stability.

FAQs
What is the total size of the mirror?
The Shayla Matte Black Wall Mirror measures 87cm in height, 58cm in width, and 4cm in depth.
Is the frame made of metal?
No, the frame is constructed from Chinese oak and finished in a matte black tone.
Can this mirror be used in a bathroom?
While it can be placed in a bathroom, please ensure the room is well-ventilated to prevent moisture from affecting the wooden frame over time.
Does the mirror come with mounting hardware?
Standard mounting hardware is typically included, but you should verify compatibility with your specific wall type before installation.
Is the glass reflective across all sections?
Yes, all cutout windowpane sections feature high-quality reflective mirrored glass.
Troubleshooting
Mirror appears tilted when mounted
Check that both mounting points are level; adjust the hanging hardware position slightly if the frame is uneven.
Visible streaks on windowpane sections
Use a microfiber cloth and ensure the glass is completely dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated arched architectural style
- Modern and versatile matte black finish
- High-quality sturdy wood frame construction
- Decorative windowpane design creates visual depth
Cons
- Large dimensions may not fit small wall areas
- Matte finish may require specific dusting techniques to avoid streaks
- Requires professional or careful installation due to weight
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure you have the appropriate wall anchors for your specific wall type (drywall, masonry, or wood stud). Given the dimensions of 87cm by 58cm, it is recommended to use a level to ensure the arched top is perfectly aligned.
Care Instructions:
- Frame Maintenance: Wipe the matte black frame periodically with a soft, dry lint-free cloth to prevent dust buildup. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Mirror Cleaning: Use a high-quality glass cleaner or a mixture of water and vinegar. Always spray the cloth first rather than the mirror to prevent moisture from seeping into the wooden frame segments.
