Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable, and reinforced surface capable of supporting its heavy iron weight. Secure the machine to the workstation if necessary to prevent sliding during operation.
Compatibility: This model is optimized for standard dough consistencies. Very stiff or exceptionally high-hydration doughs may require adjustments to the operator's pressing speed.
Care & Maintenance:
- After each use, disassemble removable components and wash the stainless steel trays thoroughly with food-safe sanitizer.
- Wipe down the main body with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Periodically inspect the lever pivot point and apply food-grade lubricant if the handle movement feels sluggish.
- Keep the machine in a dry environment to prevent corrosion of the internal iron components.
