The Staub 24cm Braiser is a premium cast iron kitchen essential designed for home cooks who prioritize precision searing and moisture-retentive slow cooking. Featuring the brand's signature self-basting Chistera lid, this pan excels at keeping meats and vegetables tender and flavorful with minimal intervention. While its durable enamelled cast iron construction offers incredible heat retention, users should note its substantial weight of over 4kg, which requires careful handling when moving between stovetop and oven.

While it is technically dishwasher proof, we recommend hand washing to preserve the exterior color and interior finish over time.
Ensure the pan is properly preheated before adding oil and ingredients; allow the food to develop a crust naturally before attempting to flip it.
Gently clean the affected area with a soft sponge and a mild non-abrasive cleaner; persistent stains can often be removed with a paste of baking soda and water.
Before using your Staub Braiser for the first time, wash it in warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly. While it is dishwasher proof, hand washing is highly recommended to maintain the finish and longevity of the enamel. Avoid using metal utensils to prevent scratching the enamel coating; silicone or wooden tools are preferred. When cooking, gradually heat the pan to prevent thermal shock, and always use oven mitts, as the cast iron handles retain heat for a long period after cooking. For storage, ensure the pan is completely dry before placing it in a cupboard to prevent any potential moisture accumulation.
