Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: As a quartz watch, the Tissot Carson Classic requires initial setup of the time and date. Pull the crown out to the first position to set the date, and to the second position to set the time. Ensure the crown is pushed back in fully to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility: This watch is a standalone analog timepiece and does not have electronic compatibility requirements.
Care Instructions:
- Strap Care: The leather strap should be kept dry and cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, as this can damage the leather. Consider a leather conditioner for maintenance.
- Cleaning: Wipe the stainless steel case and crystal with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: While rated for 50 meters, this watch is designed for incidental contact with water (e.g., rain, handwashing). It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Ensure the crown is always pushed in completely to maintain water resistance.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch when not in use to prevent scratches.
