Yes, it is resistant to moisture and mildew, making it durable in wet environments, though it is primarily designed for land-based construction.
This line is designed for masonry and layout tasks. It lacks the specific properties required for fishing and should not be used for that purpose.
While the color is high-visibility, prolonged exposure to harsh UV rays over many months may cause slight fading, though it will remain functional.
The product provides a total length of 100 meters.
Yes, the included plastic reel is designed to be reused for the lifespan of the stringline.
The line is heat-set to minimize stretching and maintain a consistent, straight shape during standard use.
Ensure that the line is wound evenly across the reel surface without overlapping loose loops.
Check that your anchor points are secure; re-tighten the line using the reel to take up any slack caused by movement of the anchors.
Wipe the line with a damp cloth; the material is resistant to moisture and will not be compromised by light cleaning.
To set up the stringline, anchor one end firmly to a stake or block, and extend the line across your desired span, using a level if necessary to ensure accuracy. When not in use, ensure the line is dry before winding it back onto the included plastic reel. Avoid dragging the line over extremely jagged, sharp metal edges to preserve the integrity of the 8-strand braid. Regularly inspect the line for fraying after heavy use and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for extended periods to maintain the integrity of the fluorescent dye.
