Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Precision Momentum Rugby Training Ball arrives inflated to a safe transport level. Before first use, it is recommended to inflate the ball to the manufacturer's recommended pressure. Use a standard ball pump with a suitable inflation needle. Avoid over-inflating, which can damage the bladder and stitching.
Compatibility: This training ball is compatible with standard rugby ball pumps and needles. It is designed for use on a variety of rugby pitches, including grass and artificial turf.
Care: To maintain the ball's performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Wipe the ball with a damp cloth after use, especially if it has been exposed to mud or dirt. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the rubber surface.
- Storage: Store the ball in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store it under heavy objects that could cause deformation.
- Inflation: Regularly check the ball's pressure using a pressure gauge and reinflate as necessary to the recommended PSI. This typically falls within the 4-6 PSI range for rugby balls, but refer to any specific markings on the ball if available.
