The ceiling rose bracket can safely support a maximum load of 5kg (approximately 12lbs).
No, the package includes one Ceiling Rose Bracket with an earth tag. Mounting hardware such as screws are not included and should be sourced separately based on your ceiling type.
This bracket is designed for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to outdoor elements may affect its durability and finish.
The bracket is made from high-quality iron with a protective plating.
The appearance of the color can vary slightly due to differences in computer monitor calibration.
The earth tag is a safety feature designed to connect the earth wire from your light fixture to the building's earthing system, providing protection against electrical shocks.
You can use this bracket for chandeliers up to 5kg. For heavier fixtures, a different mounting solution with a higher weight rating would be necessary.
Ensure that the mounting screws are fully tightened into a secure ceiling joist or electrical box. Check that the ceiling box itself is rated for the weight of the fixture.
Refer to the specific wiring instructions for your light fixture. Ensure you are using appropriate connectors and that the earth wire is correctly attached to the bracket's earth tag.
This bracket is typically plated for protection. If rust appears, it may indicate damage to the plating or exposure to excessive moisture. Clean gently and consider a protective coating if in a humid environment, though this is not a typical issue for indoor use.
Setup: Ensure the power to the relevant circuit is turned off before installation. Securely mount the bracket to the ceiling joist or a suitable electrical box using appropriate screws (not included). Connect the wiring from your light fixture to the ceiling wiring, ensuring the earth wire is connected to the bracket's earth tag. Finally, attach your light fixture to the bracket.
Compatibility: This bracket is designed for use with standard ceiling installations and is compatible with most types of light fixtures and chandeliers that do not exceed its 5kg weight limit. It is intended for indoor use.
Care: To clean, gently wipe the bracket with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the plating.
