Setup, Compatibility & Care
When spooling the Daiwa Hyper Sensor, ensure you apply consistent tension to prevent the line from digging into itself on the spool. Because this is a high-performance monofilament, it is recommended to use smooth, knot-friendly terminal tackle to avoid unnecessary friction. To maintain the line's integrity, store your spools in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, as UV exposure can degrade monofilament over time. Before each trip, check the first few feet of your line for nicks or abrasions; if any damage is found, trim back to the sound line before casting to ensure you do not lose a trophy fish due to a preventable break.
