This Kramer C-D9F/OPEN control cable is designed for RS-232 applications, allowing you to control devices within a professional AV system. It is ideal for connecting RS-232 controllable Kramer products with terminal block connectors to touch-screen systems, PCs, or other serial controllers equipped with D9 connectors. The cable features a high-quality construction with three 28AWG isolated conductors. It has a molded female 9-pin D-sub connector with nickel plating on one end and an open, non-terminated end. The cable is wired pin-to-pin on pins 2, 3, and 5, includes molded strain relief, and has stripped and tinned wires at the open end. It is also RoHS compliant and available in various lengths from 3 to 50ft (1 to 15m). The conductors are made of tinned copper, with 28AWG for lengths 3-10ft (0.9-3m) and 24AWG for lengths 15-50ft (4.6-15.2m).
