The Bosch D-TECT 120 Professional Wall Scanner is an intuitive radar scanner designed for detecting almost all types of materials within walls. Its spot measurement capability ensures accurate detection even on narrow surfaces, and the integrated centre finder precisely indicates the center of any detected object. The scanner features a user-friendly interface with three straightforward selection buttons to adapt to various applications. It can detect objects up to a depth of 12 cm, alerting the user with both audio and visual signals when an object is found. This tool is beneficial for various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC, helping to locate water-filled pipes and cables, thereby preventing drilling accidents. The Dual Power Source technology allows it to be powered by either a 12V Li-ion battery or standard alkaline batteries. The product comes supplied with a quick-start card and an L-BOXX 136. Please note that batteries are not included. Key specifications include a maximum detection depth of 120mm for magnetic metal, 80mm for non-magnetic metal, 60mm for live cables, and 38mm for wooden substructures. It operates on a 12V Li-ion battery or 4 x AA 1.5 V LR6 batteries and has an automatic deactivation feature after approximately 5 minutes. The scanner weighs 0.5kg.
