Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure proper installation, always lift the vehicle securely using jack stands and remove the control arm assembly according to your specific vehicle service manual. Use a hydraulic press or a dedicated bushing removal tool to extract the old bush; never attempt to hammer the new TD878W into place as this can damage the structural casing. Ensure the housing is clean and free of debris before insertion. After installation, a professional four-wheel alignment is mandatory to reset the vehicle's geometry. Periodically inspect the bush during routine oil changes to check for dry rot or cracking in the rubber compound.
