The Beta 32AU Automatic Centre Punch is an essential tool for machinists, metalworkers, and DIY enthusiasts who require high-precision marking for drilling operations. This professional-grade instrument excels at creating consistent starter marks on metal surfaces without the need for a hammer, though users should note that the internal spring mechanism requires occasional maintenance to ensure consistent impact force over long-term heavy use.

The Beta 32AU can exert up to 50 kg of impact force.
The tip is fixed; however, it is made of hardened steel designed for long-lasting performance.
No, it is an automatic centre punch. The impact is generated by an internal spring mechanism.
The tool weighs 135g.
While it can mark wood, it is primarily designed for metalworking. Use on wood may result in a less defined mark due to the material's fibrous nature.
Rotate the knurled adjustment mechanism at the end of the handle to increase or decrease the spring tension.
Debris may be blocking the internal plunger. Clear out any metal shavings and ensure the tip is not mushroomed.
Adjust the knurled cap clockwise to increase spring tension.
The internal assembly requires lubrication. Disassemble carefully, clean the internal parts, and apply a light coating of machine oil.
To set up the tool, simply twist the knurled end cap to adjust the depth of the internal spring tension. Higher tension results in a deeper, more pronounced mark.
