This 4K HDMI 2.0 Matrix 4x4 Switch is designed for users with multiple HDMI source devices and displays, offering seamless switching between four inputs and four outputs. Its key benefit is the ability to manage complex AV setups, especially in commercial environments, while providing high-resolution 4K@60Hz video and versatile audio output options. A potential caveat is the maximum transmission distance for 4K@60Hz signals, which is limited to 10 meters per input/output.

EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) management allows the matrix to communicate with your displays to ensure optimal video and audio settings are used, preventing compatibility issues and ensuring the best possible signal is sent.
The dimensions of the matrix are 276mm x 143mm x 26mm.
Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the matrix and the source/display devices. Verify that the correct input is selected on the matrix. Check that the source devices and displays are powered on and set to the correct input. Confirm HDMI cable length is within the supported limits for the resolution being used.
Try using shorter, high-quality HDMI cables. Ensure the HDMI cables are certified for HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. Adjust the EDID settings on the matrix to match your display's capabilities. Check for potential interference near the cables.
Verify the audio output connection from HDMI output #1 (SPDIF or 3.5mm) is correctly connected to your sound system. Check the audio settings on the source device and ensure the selected audio format is supported by both the matrix and the output audio device. Try a different audio cable.
Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the matrix's IR receiver. Replace the AAA batteries in the remote (2x AAA, not supplied). Make sure the matrix unit is powered on.
Use the EDID switch panel on the matrix to select the appropriate EDID setting that matches your display's native resolution and capabilities. Consult your display's manual for supported resolutions and formats.
