Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best fit, ensure the horse's legs are clean and dry before application. Place the boot on the leg so the strike pad is positioned on the inside, protecting the canon bone area. Secure the touch-close straps from top to bottom, ensuring a snug fit that is firm enough to prevent the boot from sliding, but not so tight that it restricts circulation.
To clean, brush off dried mud or debris with a stiff brush. For deeper cleaning, hand wash in cool water with a mild, horse-friendly detergent and allow to air dry away from direct heat sources. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can damage the compression-resistant materials and the integrity of the touch-close fastenings.
