Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: This stair runner can be installed flexibly. While underlay or gripper rods can be used for added cushioning and security, the gel latex backing may allow for direct fitting on many surfaces if preferred. Ensure the surface where the runner will be placed is clean and dry before installation. Cut to size if necessary, using sharp scissors or a utility knife for clean edges.
Compatibility: The gel latex backing provides grip on most surfaces. However, it is always recommended to test in an inconspicuous area or consult with a flooring professional if you have concerns about specific floor types (e.g., delicate natural stone or certain varnished finishes).
Care: Due to its stain-resistant and waterproof properties, general cleaning involves regular vacuuming to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which could damage the fibers or backing. For deeper cleaning, a mild detergent mixed with water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying.
