Setup, Compatibility & Care
When your two 1L pots arrive, prepare a site with well-draining soil that receives full sun or light partial shade. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, ensure the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil surface, and backfill with native soil. During the first growing season, keep the soil consistently moist to help the plant establish its root system. After the first year, reduce supplemental watering, as the plant becomes highly drought-tolerant. Remove spent flower stalks after the primary bloom cycle to encourage a tidier garden appearance.
