Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before installation, gather your tools, including a level, drill, screwdriver, and pencil. Identify the desired location on your wall and mark the mounting points using the shelf and its brackets. Ensure the marks are level. Drill pilot holes and insert appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (e.g., drywall anchors, masonry plugs). Secure the mounting brackets to the wall. Once the brackets are firmly attached, slide the shelf onto the brackets, ensuring it sits flush and securely.
Compatibility: This shelf is designed for mounting on solid walls (brick, concrete) or walls with sturdy wooden studs. For drywall or plaster walls, ensure you use appropriate heavy-duty anchors or locate wall studs for secure attachment. The shelf's weight capacity will depend on the quality of the wall mounting.
Care: To maintain the finish, dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or furniture polish, as these can damage the wood and finish.
