Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This watch features a quartz movement and typically arrives with its crown in the 'stop' position to conserve battery. To set the time, gently pull the crown outwards to the first or second position (depending on the movement's functions, e.g., date change) and turn until the desired time is reached. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
Compatibility: As a standalone timepiece, compatibility is not a primary concern. Ensure any aftermarket straps or bracelets are of the correct lug width if you intend to change the original high-shine stainless steel bracelet.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Crystal: The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant, but avoid direct impact with hard objects.
- Water Resistance: While specific water resistance ratings are not provided, avoid submerging the watch in water unless its rating explicitly permits it. Always ensure the crown is pushed in securely before any potential water exposure.
- Battery: Quartz watches require battery replacements approximately every 2-5 years, depending on usage and battery type. This should be performed by a qualified watchmaker to avoid damage to the movement.
