The Clarks Funny Dream in Plum is designed for individuals seeking a blend of vintage aesthetic and everyday comfort. These casual shoes are ideal for those who spend significant time on their feet and desire a reliable, stylish option for pairing with denim or smart-casual trousers. While the premium suede upper offers a soft, high-quality feel, it requires proactive care to maintain its appearance against environmental elements like rain or mud.

The Funny Dream model generally accommodates average widths, but the soft suede upper does offer some natural stretch over time.
No, never submerge suede shoes in water or place them in a washing machine, as this will destroy the material and structural integrity.
You can clean the rubber outsole using a damp cloth with mild soap and water, then wipe dry immediately.
Most users find the soft leather lining comfortable from the first wear, though the sole may take a few hours of walking to fully flex to your gait.
They are not waterproof. While a spray protectant helps repel water, they are intended for casual wear and should not be worn in heavy rain.
Allow the shoe to dry completely, then use a suede eraser or brush to gently lift the fibers and buff out the water mark.
Use a suede cleaning block to gently rub the affected area, followed by brushing in the direction of the leather grain.
Remove the shoe from direct sunlight and use a cedar shoe tree to absorb moisture and deodorize the interior naturally.
Because these shoes are crafted from premium suede, proper care is essential to extend their lifespan. Before the first wear, apply a suede-specific water and stain repellent spray to create a protective barrier. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack. Use a soft-bristled suede brush after each use to remove loose dust and restore the nap of the leather. These shoes are best worn with thin, moisture-wicking socks to maintain the breathability of the interior leather lining. Store them in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to help maintain the structure of the toe box.
