The Alessi Slow Coffee Grinder (KT01) is designed for coffee enthusiasts and minimalist design lovers who prioritize the freshness and flavor profile of their daily pour-over or filtered brew. By processing beans manually on-demand, this tool captures essential oils and aromas that pre-ground coffee lacks; however, users should note that the manual operation requires a commitment of time and effort compared to automated electric alternatives.

Yes, the grinder features an internal adjustment mechanism to change the coarseness of the grounds to suit your brewing method.

No, the Alessi Slow Coffee Grinder contains mechanical parts that should not be submerged or placed in a dishwasher.
Check the hopper for jammed beans or adjust the grind setting to a coarser position.
Ensure the internal burrs are seated correctly and clear any residual coffee dust from the exit chute.
Ensure all exterior components are properly tightened and the unit is on a flat, non-slip surface.
To begin using the Alessi Slow Coffee Grinder, ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface to prevent slipping during operation. If the grind consistency needs adjustment, refer to the internal burr settings. Compatibility is universal for most standard coffee beans, though oily dark roasts may require more frequent cleaning of the burr mechanism to prevent residue buildup. To care for your grinder, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid submerging the grinding mechanism in water, as this can affect the lubrication of the gears and lead to corrosion. Periodically inspect the grinding burrs for any stuck particles to maintain optimal performance.
