This contractor grade Cat8 network patch cable is designed to upgrade Category 6A cabling. It maximizes performance for applications requiring high data transfer speeds up to 40Gb/s. The cable is manufactured and tested in accordance with ANSI/TIA 568C.2-1 specifications, suitable for IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ applications up to 100W. It features a screened and foil shielded twisted pair cable (SFTP) to protect against electromagnetic interference and a low smoke, zero halogen cable jacket to reduce chemical release in case of fire. It has a transparent UL 94V-2 polycarbonate plug housing and gold plated contacts.
