Setup begins by attaching the mounting hardware to your kayak's rear deck or gunwales, depending on your specific watercraft design. Once the mounting brackets are fixed, insert the adjustable rods and secure them with the provided locking mechanisms. Inflate the two floats using a standard air pump until they are firm but not over-pressured.
Regarding compatibility, this system is universal but works best on sit-on-top kayaks with flat rear decks. For care, always rinse the rods and mounting hardware with fresh water after use in saltwater to prevent corrosion. Ensure the floats are completely dry before deflating and storing them to prevent mold or mildew growth.
