Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
These bolts require a corresponding Allen wrench (hex key) for installation. Ensure you select the correct size of wrench to fit the hex socket. Thread the bolt into the pre-tapped hole or nut. Tighten until secure, taking care not to overtighten, which could strip the threads or damage the surrounding material. The button head provides a smooth, low profile finish once installed.
Compatibility:
These bolts are designed to fit standard metric threaded holes or nuts. They are compatible with a wide range of materials, including metal, wood, and plastics, provided the receiving material is strong enough to support the load and a correctly sized tapped hole or nut is used. Always ensure the bolt's diameter and length are appropriate for the application's requirements.
Care:
While A2 304 stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, it is not entirely impervious to all environmental conditions. Clean the bolts periodically with a mild soap and water solution if they are exposed to harsh chemicals or salt spray. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the surface. For most indoor or standard outdoor applications, periodic visual inspection is sufficient.
