Specifically designed to attach wood to heavy section steel (Max. 12mm). This metric thread screw features wings designed to ream out the timber, allowing it to achieve maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings encounter metal, they break off, enabling the thread to self-tap into the metal. Features a countersunk head with ribs and a Phillips recess. The finish is zinc, and the material is case & core hardened carbon steel. It has a thread diameter of 5.5mm and a length of 100mm.
