Troubleshooting

Press-stud closure is difficult to open or close

Ensure no paper is caught in the stud mechanism. Gently flex the stud a few times. If it persists, try using a small amount of lubricant (like graphite powder) on the stud, ensuring it doesn't transfer to documents.

Folder material appears cloudy or has smudges

Wipe the surface with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Dry with a separate soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Folder does not lay flat when empty

This is normal for new folders with a secure closure. The material will become more pliable with use.
