The Loops 1 Gang Single Light Switch is an ideal choice for homeowners and interior designers seeking a minimalist, modern aesthetic for their lighting controls. Its key benefit is the sophisticated screwless faceplate that creates a clean, flush appearance on your wall, though users should note that the high-gloss finish may require frequent dusting to remain free of fingerprints compared to matte alternatives.

This is a standard 10A light switch; typical UK lighting circuits often do not require a neutral wire at the switch position, but you should consult your specific circuit diagram or a professional electrician.
No, this switch is designed for indoor use only and does not feature an IP rating for moisture or weather protection.
While durable, the polished silver finish can be scratched by abrasive materials. Always use a soft cloth for cleaning.
This switch is rated for 10A, which is standard for most residential lighting circuits.
Yes, the screwless faceplate is designed to be removed for decorating or cleaning by gently prying it from the base using a flat-head screwdriver in the designated notch.
Ensure the mounting screws behind the faceplate are securely tightened to the backbox before snapping the cover into place.
Check that all wires are fully inserted and tightened within the terminal ports to ensure a solid electrical connection.
Installation should always be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with building regulations. Before beginning, ensure the mains power is isolated at the consumer unit. The switch is compatible with standard UK recessed backboxes; simply remove the old faceplate, transfer the wiring to the Loops terminal blocks, and snap the cover plate into position. For care and maintenance, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges. Instead, wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to maintain its shine. If the surface becomes smudged, a slightly dampened cloth with mild soapy water is sufficient, followed immediately by drying with a soft cloth.
