The Cateye Padrone Digital Wireless is designed for serious cyclists who need a highly readable, dedicated training display without relying solely on a smartphone while riding. Its primary benefit is a large, three-row, four-function display that provides essential metrics at a glance, though users should note that full customization and syncing functionality relies on using the Cateye Cycling app. This unit bridges the gap between traditional cycle computers and modern smart technology by offering wireless Bluetooth connectivity, multiple-bike sensor recognition, and broad compatibility with third-party training platforms like Strava and TrainingPeaks.

Yes, the Padrone Digital supports multiple bikes with automatic sensor and tire size recognition, provided you have a compatible sensor setup on each bike.
No, this unit is a dedicated sensor-based computer and does not track location via GPS; it relies on the ISC-12 sensor for speed and distance.
It is water-resistant and designed to withstand standard cycling conditions, such as rain and road spray, though it should not be submerged.
Yes, the device is compatible with Bluetooth Smart heart rate sensors, which can be paired to provide heart rate data alongside speed and cadence.
The Padrone Digital stores your ride data internally while you ride; you can sync the data to your phone and the cloud later via the app.
Check that the ISC-12 sensor is positioned correctly relative to the magnet and ensure the sensor battery is not depleted.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that the computer is in pairing mode; restart the Cateye Cycling app if necessary.
The internal computer battery likely needs replacement; remove the back cover to install a fresh CR2032 battery.
To begin using the Padrone Digital, install the ISC-12 sensor on your non-drive side chainstay and pair it with the computer via the Cateye Cycling app on your smartphone. The app handles the initial pairing and sensor calibration, which makes the process significantly faster than older non-smart models. For maintenance, regularly check the battery levels, as the computer features a built-in sensor battery alarm to alert you when the ISC-12 or heart rate sensor power is running low. Keep the screen clean with a soft, damp cloth and ensure the FlexTight bracket is tightened periodically to prevent slipping during bumpy rides.
