Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Placement: Position the unit on a flat, stable surface in the desired room. Ensure there's adequate space around the air inlet and outlet (usually at least 20cm) for optimal airflow.
- Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Initial Use: Turn on the unit via the soft touch panel. Select your desired mode (Continuous, Laundry, Silent) and set the humidity level if using continuous mode.
Compatibility
This dehumidifier is specifically designed for larger rooms, ranging from 32 to 40 square meters. Its high extraction rate makes it less suitable for very small spaces where it might over-dehumidify quickly. It is compatible with standard household electrical systems.
Care
- Water Tank: Regularly check and empty the 4L water tank. The unit features an automatic shut-off to prevent overflow when the tank is full, but consistent emptying ensures continuous operation. Clean the tank periodically with mild soap and water to prevent mould or bacterial growth.
- HEPA Filter: The built-in HEPA filter captures dust and allergens. Info needed: [Consult the user manual for specific instructions on when and how to clean or replace the HEPA filter. Regular maintenance is crucial for air quality and unit efficiency.]
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the unit is thoroughly dry.
