The CaterBase 4Ltr Measuring Jug is an essential tool for professional chefs and home cooks alike who require high-capacity, precise volume control for large-batch recipes. Engineered from heavy-duty polypropylene, this jug offers significant durability and ease of handling, though its larger size may require more dedicated storage space in compact kitchens compared to standard 1-liter alternatives.

Yes, it is microwave safe and constructed from high-quality polypropylene, but it should not be placed directly on a stovetop or open flame.
Yes, while designed for liquids, the wide opening makes it suitable for measuring bulk dry ingredients like flour or sugar.
Yes, the rim is designed with a shaped pouring lip to help guide liquid and minimize splashing.
The jug measures 252mm in height and 177mm in width.
The jug is constructed from food-grade polypropylene, which is standard for food-safe commercial kitchen equipment.
While durable, constant use of metal utensils may scratch the interior surface; we recommend using silicone or plastic whisks to preserve the clarity of the plastic.
Avoid using abrasive sponges or scouring pads when cleaning the jug; use a soft cloth and mild dish detergent.
Ensure the handle is dry before use and always maintain a firm grip using the full hand rather than just fingers.
Immediately rinse the jug after use with hot water and dish soap; for stubborn stains, a soak in a baking soda and water solution can help.
This product is ready for use immediately upon arrival; simply rinse with warm soapy water before the first use. To maintain the integrity of the measurement markings, avoid using harsh steel wool or abrasive scrubbing pads during manual cleaning. While the jug is dishwasher safe, placing it in the top rack can help prolong the finish of the plastic. It is fully compatible with professional kitchen workflows including cold storage and microwave heating. Ensure the jug is placed on a stable, flat surface when filling to ensure measurement accuracy.
