Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install the Olmec stair runner, it is typically secured using carpet tacks or a suitable adhesive strip designed for carpets and stairs. Ensure the staircase is clean and dry before application. Carefully measure and cut the runner to your desired length if not pre-sized. For the reversible feature, untack the runner from the stairs, flip it to the desired side, and re-tack securely. Ensure the runner lies flat and taut to prevent tripping hazards.
Compatibility: This runner is designed for standard indoor and outdoor staircases. It is compatible with most stair types, including wood, tile, and painted surfaces, provided appropriate fixing methods are used. Its 2mm thickness means it should not interfere significantly with door clearances.
Care: The runner is low-maintenance due to its stain-resistant polypropylene. For general cleaning, vacuum regularly. For spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth or a mild detergent solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. If deep cleaning is required, consider professional carpet cleaning, ensuring they are aware of the material composition.
