The POLLOR Petrol Earth Auger is designed for anyone needing to create holes in the ground efficiently, from homeowners installing fences to professionals in landscaping. Its key benefit is the powerful 52cc engine that speeds up ground drilling tasks significantly. A minor caveat is the required 2-stroke fuel mix, which needs careful preparation. This tool features a robust 52cc 2-stroke engine, comes with three interchangeable drill bits (100mm, 150mm, 200mm), offers ergonomic handles for better control, and boasts a 1.2L fuel tank for extended operation.

The auger requires a 25:1 fuel-to-oil mixture. Use standard unleaded gasoline and a quality 2-stroke engine oil. For example, mix 40ml of oil per 1 liter of gasoline.
The auger comes with three drill bits with diameters of 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm. All three bits are 80cm in length.
The fuel tank has a capacity of 1.2 liters.
While the auger is powerful, very dense or rocky soil can be challenging and may cause strain on the engine or bits. It is best suited for loam, clay, and compacted earth. Avoid large rocks if possible.
For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the unit thoroughly and store it in a dry, protected location.
Basic assembly is required, primarily attaching the drill bits and ensuring the handles are securely fitted. Always refer to the product manual for detailed instructions.
Use a reputable brand of 2-stroke engine oil specifically designed for air-cooled engines. Refer to the product manual for any specific recommendations.
Check fuel level and ensure correct 25:1 fuel/oil mix. Verify spark plug is connected and clean. Ensure the fuel valve is open. Check air filter for obstructions.
Use fresh, correctly mixed fuel. Clean or replace the air filter. Check spark plug condition. Ensure the drill bit is not excessively bound in the soil.
Do not force the engine. Try rotating the auger in reverse if possible, or gently rocking the auger to loosen it. If unable to free, carefully dig around the bit to release it.
Ensure the drill bit is securely fastened. Check for any damage or warping on the drill bit. Ensure the ground is stable and the user has a firm grip.
Ensure the air intake and cooling fins are clear of debris. Do not operate the engine continuously at maximum throttle for excessively long periods without breaks.
